It’s a taco shop, taco joint or taqueria. This laid-back, original style taqueria brings guests a diversity of flavors from Mexican streets and marketplaces where homemade “street-style” tacos originated. Now the opportunity to eat “real-deal” tacos in a casual, independent, not-your-standard-Mexican restaurant is available to all. At Taco Republic we use traditional Mexican meats like Barbacoa, Cochinita Pibil and Tinga atop authentic tortillas and topped with the freshest ingredients. We create ethnic street food by slow cooking, smoking and braising meats to get the simplicity of freshness and exquisite flavor. Taco Republic establishes a new category of neighborhood taco shop in the Midwest, producing casual comfort and extreme value in a unique environment. For those on the run, Taco Republic has a walk-up, to-go window with morning & late night hours. This window is where you’ll find a little piece of our soul: Wood-Fired Chicken. Cooked slowly and with a passion for yum, it's available in daily limited quantities, so watch the neon sign to see if your dream dinner is available. For those with a bit more time there’s a comfortable roadside space to sit, relax, and listen to just-right music while you sip your favorite beverage and even play a game.
