Power & Light’s latest addition pairs beers with local charities for a thirst-quenching way to give back.
Supporting local charities just got easier. Leinenkugel’s KC launched FILLanthropy, a competition that will pit two local organizations against each other to see which can pour the most beer from an assigned tap each month.
The pours of each charity’s designated draft will be tallied at the end of the month. The charity with the most pours will receive a 10 percent donation of the sales from its assigned draft and roll over to the next month’s competition. The losing organization will receive a 5 percent donation of the sales from its draft, and a new competitor will be crowdsourced from the restaurant’s social media channels.
Getting thirsty? The inaugural showdown features Kansas City Pet Project and Leinenkugel’s Grapefruit Shandy against Big Brothers Big Sisters and Leinenkugel’s Sunset Wheat. Our suggestion: Don’t choose one or the other, and instead enjoy both this month.
