Furry Fridays: Cheyenne at Great Plains SPCA

Meet Cheyenne, a clever 8-year-old still learning new tricks and looking for a family.

Searching for a sweet gal chock-full of Beagle goodness? Look no further than Cheyenne, an 8-year-old Beagle mix currently calling Great Plains SPCA’s Independence Campus home. Cheyenne is the perfect age: old enough to be past all that puppy mischief but still wiggly and full of pep to provide her new family with smiles and laughs every day. Volunteers report that Cheyenne is extremely smart and picks up on new tricks easily. All Great Plains SPCA shelter pets are move-in ready, meaning they are fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed or neutered—all you need to supply is the love!

Learn more about Cheyenne and other adoptable pets at, and join Great Plains SPCA at Union Station on Saturday, March 5 for Pawtini 2016: Poodle Skirts & Cat-illacs, the organization’s annual signature gala and largest fundraiser of the year. The evening includes delicious dining, a cocktail hour, auction items such as a tropical getaway and extreme sports experiences, along with live music from Private Stock. —Emily Hawkins
