Northland residents no longer have to commute for slices of SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza.
The KC company’s first location north of the river opens at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29 in The Village at Burlington Creek with the first 64 guests in line receiving a free Mini Mia pizza and salad. Pizza for a Year prizes will be given daily the first week SPIN! is open.
“The Northland is booming and we’re excited be part of it,” says Gail Lozoff, a partner in SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza. “We waited until we found the perfect location. Our Christmas gift this year is joining this wonderful neighborhood and becoming a part of the Northland.”
One of the nation’s first Neapolitan-style pizza restaurants, SPIN! serves traditional thin and bubbly crust, whole wheat, and gluten-free pizzas, dairy-free cheese, a selection of fresh salads topped with made-from-scratch dressings, homemade soups, signature panini and Italian deli sandwiches, appetizers, small plates, and all-natural gelato ice creams.
The Northland location’s food will be served in a 3,862-square-foot space that includes a dining room with seating for 86 and a patio that accommodates 30. The pizzeria’s centerpiece will be the bar. Featuring a high-top banquette and tables that run the length of the room, the bar will serve a dozen barrel wines and 16 craft beers, all on tap. Eight premium wines and 4 house wines will be available by the glass or carafe. In addition, SPIN! will serve homemade white, red and blood orange sangrias.
The Burlington Creek SPIN! is located at 6100 N.W. 63rd Terrace and will be open will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends.
