Stylish man about town and managing director at The Office of Juleanna Glover, LLC, Damian Lair’s go-to stores make KC’s guys look good head to toe.

“Men’s jewelry…I don’t wear a lot, but what I wear is from Tivol. I never take off my Yurman box chain necklace, outfitted with an assortment of talisman-like pieces I’ve picked up on various travels,” Lair says. “It’s personal, under my shirt, and it doesn’t need to be shown off. I alternate between two classic Rolex timepieces that make me never yearn for another, one gold, one stainless. Finally, I keep a couple very simple Yurman box chain and faux bois patterned bracelets stacked up alongside my watch, à la Johnny Depp. It’s enough—but not too much.”

Lair calls Halls his “absolute go-to” for shoes and bags. It’s also his one-stop shop for skincare favorites, including La Mer, La Prairie and Chanel, and fragrances, such as Bond No. 9.

“Lately, I’m very into the ‘luxe leisure’ movement that’s been sweeping the higher-end apparel industry. I’ll still pull out all the stops for a big event, but when it comes to everyday, I want to be comfortable, less constricted, yet still feel great about what I’m wearing,” Lair says. “If you’re of the mindset that all T-shirts are alike (or joggers, or sweatshirts, etc.), then I implore you to check out what you’ve been missing recently. Simplicity is key here—stick to neutrals and tone-on-tone. When the details are few, you can truly appreciate the garment.  Fit, construction and quality materials are supreme. For this—all you need is Baldwin.”
