KC Seen: Red Shoe Shindig

Community members kicked up their heels and raised $500,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City.

Arrowhead Stadium’s North Club was colored crimson for the 2015 Red Shoe Shindig! Hosted by Tom and Mary Beth Butch, the event raised more than $500,000 to go toward Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City, keeping families close to their sick children when they are in Kansas City hospitals.

Attendees walked the catwalk in their fancy footwear judged by Jennifer Bertrand, Jenny Guthrie and Katie Van Luchene. Emcees Len Jennings and Nikki Vivas connected the crowd with the Lee family, who told the impact the House had their journey with their child with heart issues. DJ Steve Serrano got the party started as guests kicked off their red heels to celebrate the most successful Red Shoe Shindig ever!
