Furry Fridays: Slick at Great Plains SPCA

There is nothing quite like a kitten to keep you on your toes!

Meet Slick, a 3-month-old Domestic Shorthair at Great Plains SPCA’s Independence Campus.  Slick is affectionate and friendly, and is excited to learn what life as a “furever” pet is all about. Slick is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated—completely ready to go! Learn more about Slick and the nearly 1,200 pets calling the shelter home at www.greatplainsspca.org/adopt.

Looking for other ways to help? Make sure to sign up for the Great Plains SPCA Young Professionals Trivia Night at Waldo Pizza on Friday, November 13th. Teams of eight will compete for the title of Trivia Champion and all proceeds benefit homeless pets at Great Plains SPCA. Individual tickets can be purchased for $15 or Teams of 8 can sign up for  $100 ($12.50/person). Tickets can be purchased here.

And right now, all donations made to Great Plains SPCA through October 15th will be matched, thanks to a generous donor family, as Great Plains SPCA attempts to raise $500,000 during its Crisis Crossroads Campaign. You can make a donation here. –Emily Hawkins
