Prepare for a legendary night at Park Place.
The shopping district’s annual Paint the Night street fair returns 5 – 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1 and it’s sure to be legendary. Paying tribute to this year’s theme, Legends, the night includes musical tributes to favorites such as The Beatles, the Rat Pack, Fleetwood Mac and more. Guests can also rub elbows with the likes of Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, The Blues Brothers and Captain Jack Sparrow and catch a fashion show featuring looks from Park Place’s growing number of must-shop boutiques.
But it’s not all fashion and brushes with fame—tents will line the streets as restaurants get in on the action with a special menu of food and drinks, including spiedini skewers, meatball grinders, cinnamon bites and strawberry sangria from Carma; wild mushroom frico and shrimp cocktail from The Grille at Park Place; and smoked prime brisket sliders housemade steak sauce from 801 Chophouse.
Bonuses: All activities are free and open to the public and the street fair raises awareness for Newhouse, a domestic violence shelter. For a donation to the organization, guests can take home a life-size celebrity cutout provided by Pinot’s Palette or get a VIP seat to the fashion show. Get more information online here.
