Donate Then Shop at These Clothing Drives

Clear some room for summer styles by donating your clothes.

Garment District and two of its boutiques, Scoobie and Addie Rose, are inviting shoppers to bring in gently used clothing to donate to Rose Brooks Thursday, July 9 4-7 p.m. Then they’ll help you restock your closet  in the form of a 20 percent discount at the boutiques. Stylists will be on hand to help put together fresh looks.

Donate the old then it’s in with the new, like these recent arrivals at Scoobie. Photo via Scoobie’s Instagram.

Clique also makes donating your clothing and updating your wardrobe a stylish cinch. Throughout the month of July, the Prairie Village shop is holding its annual clothing drive benefitting Dress for Success Kanas City, a program of Connections to Success. Drop off your gently worn and laundered women’s and men’s professional apparel, including shoes and accessories, and they’ll help people in our community make a great first impression as they enter or renter the workforce and land jobs that provide economic empowerment. Plus for every item sold in July, Clique will donate $1 to the cause—all the more reason to check out new pieces from Milly, three dots, Vince. and Paige Denim.
