KC Seen: BMA Foundation Dine & Dance Event

BMA Foundation drew nearly 1,000 people for the 7th Annual Dine & Dance with the Stars event, Saturday evening.

The Brian M. Anselmo Memorial Foundation (BMA Foundation) drew nearly 1,000 people for the 7th Annual Dine & Dance with the Stars event on Saturday evening, June 13.  Superstars Tony Dovolani and Sharna Burgess from ABC’s hit series “Dancing with the Stars” judged six pairs of local KC talent as they strutted their stuff to raise over $200,000 benefiting several Kansas City organizations such as Operation Breakthrough, Great Plains SPCA, Charlie’s House, Bags of Fun KC, as well as numerous educational scholarships. As a finale, Tony and Sharna took to the dance floor, bringing the crowd to their feet.

“This is not just a benefit dinner in honor of our son, Brian,” says BMA Founder Jerry Anselmo, “it’s a big party celebrating his life, his passions and the enormous heart he had for kids and animals. I am overwhelmed by the generosity and support we have received. I know Brian is proud of the work we are doing.”
