The Residences at Park Place Move In

With these chic luxury apartments newly available, it may be time to put your place on the market.

Developed by Jeff Alpert and Melanie Mann of Park Place Partners, The Residences at Park Place bring urban living to a new level in the heart of Leawood with the trifecta of lofts, townhomes and apartments.

Residents will enjoy being neighbors with some of the finest dining, fitness, entertainment and retail establishments just a few steps from their front door, as well as amenities such as a saltwater swimming pool and sauna, outdoor cabana and grilling area, wellness center, laptop and latte lounge, media room and theater, executive conference room, sports and game room and more.

Now open, the Axis Lofts offer one and two bedroom boutique living units overlooking Barkley Square. Each loft comes with stainless steel appliances, gas-burning fireplaces, quartz countertops, a steel plated kitchen island, a gas stove, a full size washer and dryer and 10-foot ceilings. The spaces also incorporate an outdoor balcony.

The Parkside Apartments and Townhomes include one-story apartments as well as two-story townhomes with one, two and three bedrooms. While the apartments feature balconies and patios overlooking the park, the townhomes boast courtyards and patios. In addition to granite countertops and kitchen islands, the properties also feature side-by-side refrigerators, a gas burning fireplace and a full size washer and dryer.

The apartments range from 760-1,300 square feet and start at $1,194 per month while the contemporary lofts offer 1,000-1,467 square feet of space and start at $1,765 per month. The 1,653-2,092 square-feet townhomes will begin at $2,652 per month.

Ready to move in? On Thursday, May 21 from 4 to 7 p.m., you can join in the celebration of the next phase of The Residences of Park Place with a Grand Opening ceremony. A Leawood Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting with a champagne toast will take place at 4 p.m., followed by festivities throughout the community.

“We are proud to celebrate the grand opening of The Residences at Park Place with the community, as this was our inspiration,” Alpert says. “We believe we have raised the bar on apartment living.”

The third phase of The Residences of Park Place, designed for the professional service industry with residential properties above office space, will break ground in fall 2015 to give the community its first live/work option which includes 135 luxury apartment homes.
