Three New Businesses Head to Park Place

This spring, Park Place is expanding the family with some seriously cool tenants.

Hand + Land is opening its first location, locally owned by Jessica Moler and Nicole Lobdell, at 11527 Ash Street later this spring. The concept will feature hand-made naturals for the body, home and health with the mission to provide small batch products that promote holistic health and support the environment. Hand + Land sources brands like Common Goods, Marble + Milkweed, Lucky Palm Tree and Juniper Ridge, and the store will carry work by local artists and craftsman whenever possible.

The Grille at Park Place plans to bring Leawood upscale, traditional American cuisine from Mitch Kerns and executive chef/partner Kevin Clayton. Look for the savory menu and 5,190 square foot restaurant to open mid-June in the former Mestizo space.

Full-service medical spa Bare Esthetics is opening its third location at 5230 W. 116th Place. Treatments range from laser hair removal to body sculpting, and this location will also be adding spray tanning and massage therapy to Bare Esthetics’ current list of services.

In addition to the new businesses moving in, florist and gift boutique Flowers By Emily is moving on to bigger and better things at 5230 W. 116th Place, conveniently positioned near Altar Bridal and Bella Bridesmaids. The store will also expand its merchandise offerings to include vases, Voluspa candles, Aden and Anais baby gifts, cards, garden seeds and more.
