Vegetarian-Friendly Spots We Love

Sticking to a vegetarian diet can often make eating out difficult, but you don’t have to suffer through another bland house salad again.

We’ve found delicious vegetarian-friendly local restaurants that will satisfy even the most faithful carnivores.

Blue Bird Bistro

Cozied up in a bright blue building with a canary yellow door lives the Blue Bird Bistro. Only organic and local ingredients pass through its doors so your lunchtime veggie stir fry with smoked tofu or sunflower sandwich will be fresh.

t. Loft

Known for its amazing juice cleanses and tasty protein balls, t. Loft is a perfect spot to find vegetarian and gluten-free food options. Although it has a few menu items that include meat, many of their dishes deliver protein from other sources. Almond Berry Quinoa Bowl, anyone?

Café Gratitude

Café Gratitude is serving up health and sustainability in delicious meals, all of which use 100 percent organic plant-based ingredients. Plus dish names featuring positive words like magical (a veggie burger on a whole wheat bun) and dazzling (a Caesar salad with pizzazz) will make you feel a little extra special when you order.

Eden Alley Café

With the motto “Divine flavor for the conscious eater,” Eden Alley Café has a lot to live up to. Not only does the restaurant create impressive lunch and dinner entrees, such as avocado Eggplant Street Tacos and the Ultimate Garlic Grilled Cheese, it also offers brunch.

The Mixx

The Mixx is an ideal option for those looking to load up on veggies in a hurry. Not only can you build your own salad with every vegetable fathomable at your fingertips, but you can also order their Veggie Stack sandwich or spicy Mediterranean Veggie Wrap to mix it up and spare yourself some tough decisions.

Fud

For a selection of both raw and cooked dishes, the all-vegan Fud should be your go-to. The Westside spot serves up a variety of entrees, including chalupas, jackfruit barbeque and a brownie covered in raw cashew ice cream.
