Intimates that look good and do good.
Every day thousands of women seek refuge in a shelter, leaving behind many of their belongings. What’s the most under donated item of clothing in the US? Underwear.
MADI Apparel, which stands for Make a Difference Intimate Apparel, has started a movement to change this. For every pair of pretty organic bamboo or lace underwear that you purchase from the local company, MADI will donate to a pair to women in need at area shelters. Other partner organizations include shelters and charities in Florida, Texas, California and India.
“Our styles are named after individual women who’ve made a difference in my life and who symbolize the kind of impact MADI can make in the world,” says MADI founder Hayley Besheer.
With six different options and new colors and styles coming soon, your philanthropic (back) side won’t be able to resist picking up a pair.
