Brookside, Town Center Crossing and Park Place are getting in the holiday spirit—and you’re invited!
One of Kansas City’s most festive neighborhoods is kicking off the 2014 holiday season with music, giveaways and store specials. Enjoy the pretty lit trees, festive window displays and discover amazing discounts on holiday merchandise courtesy of Brookside merchants as you sip hot cocoa provided by Michael Forbes Bar & Grille or complimentary Roasterie coffee at Brookside’s Holiday Season Opener 6-9 p.m. on November 13.
Music will be performed by the Holiday Trombones, St. Teresa’s Academy and Rockhurst Varsity singers as well as choirs from St. Peter’s School, St. Elizabeth’s School and Border Star Elementary. Attendees can register to win one of three packed Brookside themed giveaways. The event is free, and if you spend $250, you’ll receive a $10 gift card.
Participating retailers are offering extended hours Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and now up until the season opener, you can get a 20 percent off coupon from World’s Window when you donate a coat or sweater to the store’s annual drive for the Rose Brooks Center.
