You know those people who somehow seem to have more than 24 hours in their days? Molly McPheter is one of them.

Despite a calendar already packed with professional appointments to style hair and makeup for commercial and editorial photo shoots (including work for KC Magazine) and social obligations related to her positions on the boards or committees of several young professionals philanthropic organizations, McPheter has recently ticked one huge item off her to-do list: opening her own salon.
Roots & Branches is a full-service salon offering everything from a simple trim to balayage highlights, along with basic cosmetic treatments. The salon also features a small apothecary stocked with hair and body products from Kevin.Murphy, Archipelago Botanicals and the Australian brand Evo, including its “Fabuloso” line of awesome color-intensifying conditioners (which can be custom blended just for you).
Clients who are just as time-challenged as McPheter can use the salon’s 24/7 online booking service to make an appointment at rootsandbrancheskc.com. And don’t forget to stop by and celebrate at the grand opening party October 10 from 7-10 p.m. and enjoy a whiskey tasting by Dark Horse Distillery and desserts from Baby Cakes.
