Love Fund Fashion Show Raises Money With Style

Help fashion aid a cause for kids in Kansas City.

The Young Professionals Supporting the Love Fund is giving a new meaning to fashion fundraising.

What happens when you mix Kansas City celebrities with fashion? A fundraiser you definitely don’t want to miss. Thursday, November 6, at 6:30 p.m. models will rock the runway at the River Market Event Space, showcasing looks by Free People, Frankly Basic, Sock 101 and Amelia’s Boutique.

“This is the first signature event put on by our young professional’s group and we know it’s going to be a great night full of fashion, friends and fun all in support of Kansas City’s kids in need,” says Katie McMullen, Love Fund for Children director of resource development and special events.

Entertainment will be provided by DJ Ashton Martin with a performance painting by Mike Debus. Tickets are $25 including two cocktails, valet parking and appetizers. All proceeds directly benefit Kansas City kids in need by providing them with basics like coats, mattresses, medical supplies and more.
