Celebrate one of Kansas City’s most cherished landmarks to recognize its centennial year.
It all starts with the lavish gala on October 30, featuring breathtakingly recreated 1914 surroundings, a cocktail reception and formal dinner, and world-class entertainment. While the event is already sold out, you’ll have plenty of other opportunities to praise Union Station.
On October 31, catch the grand unveiling of new and interactive exhibits that allow you to experience the building’s 100-year history, including a 5,000-square-foot permanent exhibition of artifacts and stories and photography by Roy Inman.
Saturday and Sunday are jam-packed with fun as part of the Centennial Celebration Open House Weekend. Events include a 100th anniversary opening ceremony at 10 a.m. on Saturday, live entertainment, history lectures and special pricing and activities at Science City. Plus you can watch the Chiefs game live on the Extreme Screen.
