Home design addicts have a new destination in Kansas City.
West Elm, the brand that inspires thousands of “dream décor” Pinterest boards, has opened up shop on the Country Club Plaza, giving those of us who love poring over the pages of their catalogs the chance to get our hands on the stylish contemporary and midcentury modern furnishings and accessories.
In addition to trend-driven looks and limited-edition collaborations with designers and artists from all over the world, the Plaza location will feature a collection of items from Missouri-based artisans, including some KC locals: (Clockwise from top left) 2nd Story Leather, Hammerpress, Ampersand Design Studio and Happy Habitat.
Other awesome Missouri-made products include these adorable KC prints from Ruff House Art and geometric-patterned hanging planters by Convivial Production.
But our love isn’t reserved to locally produced items. Check out these great finds: “Wyatt” tweed sofa with rosewood case, $1,999; faceted stone table lamp, $249; “Marlow” accent table, $199; and Steven Alan abstract crewel pillow cover, $44.
