Onelife Fitness, downtown’s new luxury fitness center, isn’t set to open until mid-September, but you can still experience the fitness classes it’s offering.
Head to Athleta at the Country Club Plaza every weekend this month for a sampling of Onelife’s group exercise programs.
August 9, you can give Acro Yoga a try with a challenging series of acrobatic inspired yoga poses from 8:45-9:45 a.m. Then Sunday, go hardcore with Hardcore Barre, a full body workout that incorporates ballet, Pilates, functional movement and interval training from 11 a.m. to noon. Sweat it out at Zumba August 17, or raise your heart rate with August 23’s Ashtanga Mix sweat session. And boot camp lovers will definitely want to try The Beast class on August 24, which combines strength and cardio intervals to make sure the workout lives up to its name.
