Join the KC Downtowners – an informal association of Kansas Citians who live, work and play in downtown Kansas City – at this fun and informal forum for the exchange of ideas for the betterment of our city.
August’s topic will be “Revitalization Developments along the Streetcar Line,” discussed by speaker Andrew Ganahl, managing partner at Linden Street Partners. Ganahl will discuss the tipping point the streetcar had with them when selecting Kansas City, Mo., to develop several properties.
The buffet-style luncheon with vegetarian options will take place at the Kansas
City Club at 918 Baltimore Ave., in the second-floor University Room from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tickets are $25 cash at the door (no credit cards), or $20 if pre-paid through PayPal. Prepaid registration closes at midnight before the event. Tickets are non-refundable.
Free parking is located in the Central Library Parking Garage at the northwest corner of 10th Street and Baltimore Avenue. Validation will be given by bringing your parking ticket to the luncheon.
