With the U.S. Open in full swing, we figured you’d want to brush up on your tennis skills, ace.

Check out these cool courts around KC.

Leawood City Park

Enjoy some greenery as you play on one of the six available courts at this Leawood park. No fees to play as well as available lighting makes this the perfect place to play an after work game with your friends.

Plaza Tennis Center

Play a set of doubles here and take in the views of the Plaza. Non-members may reserve courts 24 hours in advance while members can reserve courts seven days in advance. Open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-10 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. -7 p.m. Court fees are $10/hour before 3:00 p.m. and $12/hour after 3:00 p.m.

Harmon Park

Head over to Prairie Village to start up a game on one of the 14 courts with lighting at Harmon Park. It’s open to the public, so get a group of your friends to play against each other in multiple matches.

Loose Park

These four courts are perfect for an early morning match and the scenic location makes it hard to beat (even if your game leaves you easy to beat). Play a match and then take a nice refreshing post-game walk in the rose garden.

Woodside Health and Tennis Club

Although you have to be a member to use these courts, Woodside offers day/night, indoor/outdoor tennis courts to accommodate your game year round. You can even sign up for lessons, clinics or leagues.
