Ditch the little black dress—this time of year, it’s all about the LWD (little white dress, that is).
No other color looks quite as crisp and fresh against summer’s green grass and blue skies. We’re guessing the Young Friends of Art at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art agree. Slip on one of these pretty frocks for the group’s Summer White Party on July 11 at the Donald J. Hall Sculpture Park or don the dresses at your next summer event to look white-hot.

Below center: You can’t go wrong with Blaque Label’s classic structured LWD ($88, from Frankly Basic). The slimming silhouette and unique skirt line give this dress a little extra va-va-voom. Add some pearls and white strappy sandals for a perfectly polished look.
Below right: Take a note from Kate Middleton’s Wimbledon style with this sheer lacy number by Dolce Vita ($145, from Feng). The flowy style skirt paired with booties and gold accessories give it a bohemian-chic vibe.
