Step Into the American Idol Spotlight

Who will be the next American Idol? Maybe you.

The reality show that produced superstars like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood is rolling into town July 21 and holding auditions at the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s Volker Campus at the Swinney Commons.

Auditions will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and participants must be between 15 and 28. Those who advance in the competition (or make a memorable impression in their audition) have the chance to appear on the hit show’s 14th season, which is scheduled to air in 2015. Check out the full list of requirements and get more information online here.
