Kathryn Mansur of Go Blog Social: What’s in Your Purse?

Kathryn Mansur isn’t your average entrepreneur.

Not only did she co-found the successful startup Go Blog Social, a conference that connects bloggers, social media enthusiasts and creative brands alike, but Mansur also works as a PR and events consultant as well as the director of media for KC Fashion Week.

Coffee in hand, Kathryn met up with us to pour out her Marc Jacobs bag.

Q: So what’s in your purse?

K: I don’t have a typical 9-to-5, so that means I’m often running to meetings and evening events, which makes my purse more than an accessory. It’s often filled to the brim with items I need on the go, like my Pinch Provisions Kit for a quick fix at events, a Tide to-go pen and my favorite shade of lipstick, Peachy Nude by Lipstick Queen.

Q: What’s the most important item in your bag?

K: Obviously everyone needs their phone. But my notebook is essential because I write to-do lists and it’s satisfying for me to physically see the tasks marked off when I’m through with them.

Q: What is your favorite item in your bag right now?

K: My passport cover! I just got my passport because I’m getting married in September and then am off to the Dominican Republic for my honeymoon.

Q: If you had to downsize to a clutch, what would you keep?

K: I would keep my mini “dream big” notebook with a pen for jotting down ideas, a stack of business cards and some sparkly earrings to go from day to night.
