The Westport cocktail bar just debuted a deliciously expanded menu.
In addition to southern-inspired dishes like pimento cheese and gulf shrimp po’boys, you can now enjoy a Nellie Bly (or your whatever your drink of choice may be) alongside a piping hot plate of fried green tomatoes or the muffaletta, piled with smoked ham, salami, mortadella, provolone, mozzarella and olive spread. Those dishes are among co-owner Keely Edgington’s favorite new additions to the menu by Rye chef de cuisine John Brogan, who helped design the whiskey-centric bar’s offerings.
Craving a sweet treat? Julep has also partnered with Natasha’s Mulberry & Mott to serve the bakery’s grown-up s’mores, featuring homemade graham crackers, chocolate and a generously sized marshmallow. Other dessert offerings including strawberry ice-box cake and housemade sugar doughnuts with a sweet fruit glaze.
