Join Kansas City’s Professional Millennials at the Fiery Stick Open

July 18th, Liberty Memorial

A new initiative founded by some of Kansas City’s coolest employers, including Cerner, Black & Veatch, Hallmark and Sporting Innovations, is throwing you a pretty major party.

The LiveKC initiative, which aims to make KC a more attractive place for Millennials to live, work and play, is focusing on the play angle with a new signature event, the Fiery Stick Open. Bunk off work early on the afternoon of July 18 and head to the north lawn of the Liberty Memorial, which will be transformed into a pop-up “country club” for the day. Leave those neckties and power suits at home though—this isn’t a stuffy networking event but a gathering for music, food trucks, giant-sized beer pong, bars, beer gardens and competitive leisure sports such as bocce and croquet.

The Fiery Stick Open will also feature a hole-in-one golf challenge to win $1 million dollars. Ticket packages range from $10 to $2,500. Check it out online at fierystickopen.com.
