America’s pastime and the classic ballpark food are a natural pairing, and you can enjoy them both during the Heart of America Hot Dog Festival Saturday from Noon to 9 p.m. at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.
The event, which benefits the museum, features hot dogs from MLB stadiums across the country, a performance by Morris Day & The Time and Negro Leagues Baseball Museum’s signature hot dog, The Monarch. A delicious Farmland Jumbo Frank is topped with pulled pork, cheddar cheese, bacon, red onions, jalapenos and Gates Sweet & Mild sauce for an elevated take on the snack we know and love.
Add a beer garden and family-friendly activities and you’ve got an party unlike any other. Tickets are $15 for adults or $100 for a VIP pass, which includes two tickets, unlimited food and drink, exclusive seating, two T-shirts and two passes to the museum.
