The restaurant’s theory that you should “know the story behind your food” sets the tone for a delectable seasonal carry-out menu made from only the freshest local and organic ingredients.
Kathy Hale, Pilates instructor, cook and owner of canihaveabite, is officially open for business at her new shop space shared with Red-Headed Philosopher Coffee at 8011 Wornall.
Her grab-and-go menu features chicken enchiladas, vegan lasagna, a vegetable frittata, Persian lime green beans and pizza. Plus, a gazpacho soup and curry bisque. The menu changes weekly so you never have to fear munchies boredom, and starting this week, canihaveabite is offering cooking classes every Wednesday evening for $25.
Dishes are also available at One More Cup Coffehouse in Waldo, Nature’s Own Health Market and soon through Door to Door Organic.
