Quick & Healthy Recipe: Mango Salsa

This flavorful mango salsa recipe is a simple way to spice up your plate!

Now’s the time to take advantage of beautiful summer produce, especially the mango. Its vivid color makes any plate pop and its taste only sweetens the deal. Mangos are packed full of fiber and nutrients, so what’s not to love?

Mango salsa is a healthy, easy-to-make dish that will surely make your body and taste buds happy. Enjoy it with chips and carrots for a snack or put it on top of grilled chicken or fish for dinner.

Ingredients in Mango Salsa:


  • 1 mango
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 jalapeno
  • ¼ cup cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • ¼ cup red onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste



Dice the mango, tomato, avocado, jalapeno and red onion with a sharp knife or make large chunks of them and choose the Chop setting in a standard food processor.  Pour the lime juice over the mixture, then add the chopped cilantro.

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Serve as a side with your favorite food.
