Buy a Beautiful Home That Helps Great Plains SPCA

Your next house could make a difference in the lives of homeless pets.

Kathleen Markham and her True North Team at Reece & Nichols Realtors are dedicated to finding homes for Kansas Citians, whether they are buyers looking for a new house or puppies trying to find a place to live. That’s why for every house they buy or sell, the team of seven donates $500 to the Great Plains Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

After looking for a way to set their services apart, Markham says they turned to a cause near and dear to their hearts—helping animals through the Great Plains SPCA no-kill shelter that serves more than 35,000 needy pets each year.

“At the end of the day, we help clients find the perfect home,” Markham says. “Dogs, cats, these animals are all looking for their next home too.”

Since the partnership formed earlier this year, $4,500 have been raised, but Markham hopes to raise $20,000 by the end of the year.
