Help BRGR pick its burger contest winner with your stomach.
Earlier this year, BRGR patrons submitted their recipes to the restaurant’s Burger Battle, and now Founder and CEO Alan Gaylin and Chef George Atsangbe, director of culinary, have selected the finalists.
Which dishes made the cut? The Big Burnt-end, made with chuck-rib beef and topped with slow-smoked burnt ends, hickory barbecue sauce, cheddar cheese, creamy slaw, pickles and crispy straws served on sourdough bread; The Mad Greek, which features a lamb and beef short-rib blend piled with cucumber, arugula, goat cheese and a mint-basil yogurt sauce; and The Bahn Mi, a slow-roasted pulled pork and short-rib patty topped with whiskey sauce, pickled vegetables and Sriracha mayo.
Try them all at the Prairie Village and Power & Light locations throughout May. The winner will be the burger that is ordered the most, and its creator earns a burger a week for a year.
We can’t think of a better way to celebrate National Burger Month—other than sampling these must-try burgers from around town.
