Kansas City is soccer central and now you can experience why that is.
Fresh off a 2013 MLS Cup win, Sporting KC is Kansas City’s latest athletic obsession and object of local pride. Now, Sporting Club is taking the spectator experience to a whole new level with its official app: Sporting Club Uphoria.
Once connected to the arena’s Wi-Fi, the app unlocks all kinds of event-specific information and maps the venue down to ATMs, concession stands and restrooms. It covers all of the basics: team standings, rosters, lineups and player bios. And it provides directions to and from the venue, as well as details about Sporting Park and its upcoming events. Obviously, but essentially, the app also offers Facebook and Twitter sharing options.
Most interesting, perhaps, are the many in-game streaming and playback features. Watching soccer live can sometimes require fine-tuned depth perception, but fans with Sporting Uphoria can simply utilize the Playback instant replays from various camera angles or live-stream the entire game from their phones.
If that’s not enough to suit your viewing needs, you can upgrade your seats at halftime (or at the 35 minute mark for season ticket holders). Sporting Club Uphoria is available for iOS and Android systems, Sporting Uphoria welcomes sports fans into the 21st century for free.
