New Rebecca Atwood Pillows Are to Dye For

Remember tie-dyeing t-shirts at summer camp as a kid?

The fun part of it was you never knew exactly how your creation would look, only that it would be one of a kind. There’s a similar joy in discovering the unique work of Brooklyn-based textile artist Rebecca Atwood, who uses a traditional Japanese resist-dyeing process to create the beautiful pillows seen here.

Her current collection (from $150) includes shibori, dip-dyed and handpainted pillows in perfect summer hues of sand, marine and tangerine.

Find them at The Coveted Home in Prairie Village.
