KC’s Best Chefs Come Together for a Cook-off

You won’t want to miss the Child Protection Center’s 1st Annual Cook for Courage.

On Sunday, May 18, Ryan Brazeal of Novel, Michael Corvino of The American Restaurant, Colby Garrelts of Bluestem and Rye, Howard Hanna of The Rieger Hotel Grill & Exchange and Ça Va, Patrick Ryan of Port Fonda and Celina Tio of JULIAN, Collection, and The Belfry will face off to see who makes the best smoked ribs at the 12th Street Bridge in the West Bottoms.

Attendees can sample all the offerings along with a side from each chef and drinks from Manifesto’s Ryan Maybee. The winner will be determined by a panel of judges that includes former Chiefs quarterback Trent Green, Sporting KC CEO Robb Heineman and The Roasterie’s Danny O’Neill.
