Sporty Looks To Slip On This Spring

Whether they’re the result of lingering love for the Olympics or the desire to stay comfortable, athletic-inspired looks are popping up everywhere.

Slip-on sneakers, modern track pants and mesh details will have you transitioning pieces from workout to night out.

High on our list of purchases is the slip-on sneaker. Thankfully, the trend has evolved from its original days of white canvas sneakers to something that allows you to be comfortable and stylish at the same time. Pick up the pair widely believed to have started it all, the Vince “Preston” sneaker, available in cotton ($195) and leather ($295, from Nordstrom).

For a punchier take on the trend, take a look at Dolce Vita’s “Zoren” slip-ons in black and white calf hair ($135, from Baldwin KC on the Country Club Plaza).

Dressed up track pants are also becoming a popular look. This pair from Free People ($78, from Alysa Rene) is perfect for a night out when paired with a slinky tank and killer heels.

The mesh details on the Smashing Wrap ($69, from Title Nine) will have you looking and feeling cool. Wear it with your workout clothes for a morning gym session or try with jeans and a tank for a day of errands.
