Broadmoor Bistro Serves Up Foodie Fight

April 30, Broadmoor Bistro

Food lovers will fall head over heels for this year’s Foodie Fight event. The evening starts with appetizers and trivia that pits table against table before guests enjoy entrees prepared by Broadmoor Technical Center students collaborating with a lineup of local chefs that includes Ted Habiger of Room 39, Martin Woods of YaYa’s, Richard Ng of Bo Ling’s, Renee Kelly of Renee Kelly’s Harvest and Charles d’Ablaing of The Raphael. A second round of trivia accompanies desserts prepared by Carter Holton of Sasha’s Baking Co., who also serves as an instructor at the Art Institutes International-Kansas City.

The evening benefits the Broadmoor Educational Chefs’ Garden, a new addition to Broadmoor’s award-winning culinary program for high school students that will be a collaborative effort between Broadmoor, Powell Gardens, Cultivate KC and the University of Missouri and Kansas State University Agriculture Extensions.

Tickets are only $55 and they’re going quickly, so reserve your spot now.
