Three local chefs are in the running for a culinary honor and you can help one of them win.
Ryan Brazeal of Novel, Patrick Ryan of Port Fonda and Carl Thorne-Thomsen of Story are all vying for the title of Food & Wine Magazine’s People’s Best New Chef: Midwest.
Thorne-Thomsen won last year, beating out fellow nominee Ryan, but Brazeal is on the list of up-and-coming chefs for the first time.
While this year’s local James Beard Award nominees ultimately didn’t take home any hardware, you can help make sure one of these chefs nabs the award from Food & Wine (which also just named the Westside’s Fervere one of America’s best bread bakeries) since the winner is chosen based on votes.
