Boulevard’s street fair of beer, food, music and more takes place June 13-15.
Mark your calendars: Boulevardia, a new annual festival created by local Boulevard Brewing Company is set for June 13-15 in the West Bottoms area of Kansas City. Tickets for the event go on sale Wednesday, March 4. (Click on the photo to purchase.)
Boulevard has not revealed most of the specifics yet, but says the street fair-style festival will feature local, regional and national music acts on two stages, local artisan vendors, food trucks, an “eco expo” offering education on environmental matters, and plenty of family friendly activities. General admission entrance is $10 in advance or $15 at the gate for a single day; three-day weekend passes are $25.
Naturally craft beer will play a major role in a festival produced by one of the country’s largest craft breweries. Boulevardia will also include a “Taps & Tastes” event on the afternoon of Saturday, June 14, that features a line-up of national craft breweries that will impress even the biggest beer snob, including Allagash, Crooked Stave, Funkwerks, Jolly Pumpkin, Pretty Things and Russian River. The $75 ticket price includes unlimited beer and food sampling, a commemorative tasting glass, plus general admission to the rest of Boulevardia for the day.
Both general admission and Taps & Tastes tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4. Although the general admission tickets are plentiful, Boulevard expects the limited number of tickets for the tasting event will sell out quickly.
