Chefs Megan and Colby Garrelts have come up with an anniversary celebration that will feel like a gift to diners.
From now through Friday, March 14, guests can enjoy a 10-course tasting menu that features a dish from each of the restaurant’s 10 years.
“It was quite a challenge to create this menu and select only one dish from each year Bluestem has been open,” Colby says. “We wanted to pick dishes that not only Megan and I liked, but were customer favorites.”
Items that made the cut include ahi tuna, foie gras torchon, trofie pasta, roasted rib-eye steak and strawberry honey custard (just to name a few). Attend Bluestem’s dinner of the decade for $110 and add wine pairings for an additional $75, or make a reservation for the 10th anniversary soiree on Saturday, March 15 ($100). The night begins with a reception in the lounge where guests can enjoy a raw bar and talk with the chefs before indulging in a seven-course progressive dinner based on the restaurant’s first tasting menu.
