Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator powered by Techstars are seeking applicants for new positions in KC firms. Are you ready to go to work?
Seven startups participating in the Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator powered by Techstars are seeking applicants for new positions in their firms. In addition to developers, firmware engineers and designers, two companies hope to fill marketing roles.
The Sprint accelerator program, in conjunction with Techstars, began on March 11 when 10 mobile health-related startup teams from across the country and Australia arrived in Kansas City to build and strengthen their businesses. The three-month, immersive, mentor-driven program for startups is located in the Crossroads District of Kansas City.
“Although the companies are just several weeks into the program, they are meeting with dozens of mentors, growing fast and already some teams are hoping to speed up development by leveraging talent from the Kansas City region,” says Kevin McGinnis, vice president, Pinsight Media Plus, a division of Sprint and executive lead for the Sprint Accelerator.
“All 10 companies are already making fantastic progress in the program. Our mentor network has proven to be invaluable to the teams, who have adjusted really well to the fast pace,” says John Fein, managing director, Techstars. “We’re thrilled that seven of our teams are leveraging the vibrant Kansas City community to grow their businesses. It’s exciting that several of the other teams are growing as well, either outside of Kansas City or within KC at a later time.”
