Create a springtime mood with one simple trick from O’Home.
When we stumbled upon this pretty little vignette in the Crestwood shop O’Home, the first thing that popped out was the beautiful spectrum of zingy hues in Kansas City artist Frank Kuzava’s painting, “Untitled #7” ($3,200).
“Frank Kuzava’s art is fabulous to decorate with because the layers of detail and movement combined with his gorgeous color palette complement a traditional, transitional or modern aesthetic,” says O’Home’s owner, Natalie O’Shaughnessy. “The beautiful greens and blues with the unexpected pop of red are a perfect metaphor for spring.”
Add the Lacefield Designs pillows (large, $195; small, $160) in fresh, complementary colors to the Parkhill settee ($950), and it’s a lesson in how easy it is to breathe new life into a neutral room as the seasons and natural light change. It’s a great shop styling trick that’s a cinch to pull off for an instant home makeover.
