The Westport restaurant is partnering with Google Fiber to help you cook a tasty Italian meal at home
OK, we admit it: Since having Google Fiber installed, we’ve so far really only taken advantage of the super-fast speed to download episodes of “Homeland.” But we just found out about a cool new way to use the technology: for a cooking class.
Google Fiber is partnering with Westport fave Cupini’s Fresh Pasta and Panini to host an interactive cooking class you can take in your own home. The telepresence event takes place on Cupini’s live YouTube channel on Jan. 30.
Here’s how it works: Call Cupini’s to sign up. For a $15 class fee, you’ll receive instructions on how to join the live broadcast, plus recipe cards and all of the ingredients, which will be portioned out and ready to pick up at the restaurant the day before or day of the broadcast.
You can follow along with chef Franco Cupini in your own kitchen, asking any questions you may have throughout the class. Fun idea—and now you’ll have something yummy to eat while you work through that Netflix queue.
