Taster’s Choice: The Season’s Best Brews – 4 Hands Brewery

Resurrection I.P.A. from 4 Hands Brewery in St. Louis

Resurrection I.P.A. is a special release beer from 4 Hands Brewery in St. Louis. This ale pours a dark straw color with a small, foamy head and a great lacing on the glass. Between all of the beers reviewed here, this beverage took home the best smelling category. The generous amount of hops give it a great nose that hop heads crave. Traditionally, I.P.A.’s have notes of fruit, citrus, grapefruit and other smells that can vary from piney to grassy depending on what types of hops are used in creating the brew.

Resurrection sits at a 6.5% ABV which is about par for I.P.A. Overall this medium-bodied beer is easy to sip on and being in a 22oz bottle makes it perfect for sharing with a fellow beer lover.

Our 4 Hands Resurrection bottle was purchased at Cellar & Loft in the River Market neighborhood of Kansas City.
