Sock 101’s Sock It Forward campaign donates socks to KC’s City Union Mission
Even bundled up in coats, scarves and gloves, it’s difficult to beat the icy temps this time of year. And for those who don’t have the means to protect themselves from the cold, winter can be unbearable. This holiday season, local company Sock 101 is helping to provide the downtown Kansas City shelter City Union Mission with something its residents desperately need with its “Sock It Forward” program. For every two pairs of socks you purchase through Dec. 20th, Sock 101 will donate a pair of socks to City Union Mission. The Sock It Forward program was launched in partnership with Sports Radio 810 host Les Norman’s “Create Happy Feet” campaign, which aims to collect 810 pairs of socks and underwear for the mission this season.
Sock 101’s collection includes a range of eye-catching designs and color combinations, including local pro-sports and college team colors. The high-quality cotton socks are a steal at just $7 per pair, making them the perfect stocking stuffers for the sharp-dressed man in your life. Stock up now and your gift goes even farther.
