Fall is the ideal time of year to take advantage of the fruits of the season, especially the cider that says Kansas City—Louisburg Cider Mill’s Apple Cider.
Story by Allison Kohn.
This seasonal treat is fresh-squeezed from locally grown apples, a process which cider enthusiasts can view at the mill. The mill is open seven days a week, but Ciderfest is a particularly enjoyable time to attend. Enjoy hot or cold cider, cider donuts, a corn maze, picking pumpkins in a pumpkin patch and more.
Purchase the cider by the gallon ($11.95) or half gallon ($7.95) from the Louisburg Cider Mill Country Store (14730 K68 Highway, Louisburg) or at various retailers throughout the metro area.
