Red Door Grill Unveils Expanded Menu

After two months of being in operation, Red Door Grill has expanded its menu to include new, wood-fired supper entrees and table sides.

The five new entrees complement Red Door Grill’s affordable menu of fun food rooted in wood-fired grilling from James Beard Award-winning Chef Debbie Gold’s made-from-scratch kitchen. Red Door Grill also announces extended happy hour twice daily and all day on Sunday.

Using fresh, high-quality ingredients and embracing wood-fired cooking styles, Gold’s new entrées and table sides result in serious flavors. New entrées include roasted chicken with wild rice, shiitake mushrooms and roasted garlic; miso glazed salmon with baby bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, buckwheat noodles and pickled mustard seed and scallops with broccolini, roasted eggplant and navy beans.

Red Door Grill’s happy hour menu features drink specials that include $4 drafts, $3 select bottles, $2.50 PBR, $7.50 draft flights, $5 select glasses of wine and $5 specialty cocktails and martinis created by Bar Manager Melissa Stuewe. It also includes a selection of bar bites ranging in price from $2.75 – $6. Happy hour is served on the bar and patio Monday through Saturday from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. with late night happy hour from 8:30 p.m. to close and all day on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to close.

Specialty cocktails include the Leawood Well Water—mango run, cherry vodka, Malibu, Captain Morgan, ginger ale and pineapple and orange juice—Lemon Drop—Ketel One Citroen, limoncello and lemon juice—Woodshed “House” Margarita—cedar-infused tequila, agave nectar, Cointreau and lime and orange juice. The bar bites menu includes grilled half artichoke, flatbreads and tacos.
