Hollywood Casino’s Final Cut Steakhouse received the national Award of Excellence this month from Wine Spectator magazine. What drove this prestigious award?
The magazine recently announced its 2013 Restaurant Wine List Awards and Final Cut was one of several Kansas City area fine restaurants to receive the Award of Excellence. Plus, for customers, Final Cut features a special $20 deal on Thursdays.
In addition to the award, honorees receive a feature in the annual dining guide of Wine Spectator. The guide will appear in the September issue. Listed among other top-notch restaurants around the world, this is the first full year Final Cut has been open and the first year the restaurant has made the list.
“We are extremely excited to be honored alongside these other fine restaurants for this award,” Executive Chef James White, who oversees Final Cut Steakhouse as well as all of the restaurants at Hollywood Casino, says. “Our wine list is something of which we are especially proud at Final Cut. We work very hard to make each customer comfortable with the wine offering as well as the selection process.”
With a lengthy and superb wine list, the restaurant provides an iPad wine menu for all diners to review the wine list as well as wine notes and wine descriptions at the table.
