Chefs Colby and Megan Garrelts are on a roll this year. Clearly, voters love them and their original restaurant, Bluestem, which took this year’s City’s Best award for Best Overall Restaurant.
Since opening in 2004, Bluestem has earned a solid reputation and numerous national and local accolades for its progressive, American cuisine. Besides the understated yet elegant dining room, guests can relax in the bar/lounge where premium dishes are offered at attractive prices.
This award is only sweetened by the fact that Colby won the James Beard Foundation Award for “Best Chef Midwest” this year, once and for all.
