Kansas City’s Influential Women: Elizabeth DeZeeuw

Elizabeth DeZeeuw, Regional Business Executive, Cosentry

In her role as vice president for Cosentry, Elizabeth DeZeeuw has the good fortune to foster professional growth for her employer, its employees and the clients she serves. In fact, DeZeeuw believes that to be her most significant career achievement.

Of course, she has managed to contribute significantly to Cosentry, a leading provider of compliance-ready data center services, cloud computing and managed services. DeZeeuw was the force behind a 50 percent growth in 2013 that brought in 17 new clients, ultimately returning the Kansas City office to profitability. In her previous role as executive vice president for DST Systems, DeZeeuw worked with the same vigor, forming a new business division and managing a team of 200 professionals. In that role, she grew revenue from startup to more than $55 million annually.

Having attended Montclaire State University in Newark and South America’s Universidad Autonoma del Caribe in Barranquilla, Colombia, DeZeeuw’s community service is aimed at creating opportunities for students of all ages through board participation with the Central Cities Schools and via the Computer Science Advisory Board at the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
